If the machine is the mirror, what reflection do we seek?

The Research Group on Philosophy of Computing (UNAM/ACOM) welcomes you to this space, dedicated to exploring fundamental questions about computation from a philosophical perspective. We focus on investigating both the theoretical foundations of computing and its epistemological, ethical, and social implications.

Our group is the continuation of an intellectual community that emerged from academic meetings held in 2022 and 2023. Since then, we have been committed to the production of philosophical and scientific knowledge on key thematic areas, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and the development of new perspectives in the field.
